- Effect Foliar, contact fungicide with preventive effect. It prevents pathogenic spore germination. A wide range of effects on phytopathogenic fungi and bacteria. It is used to control disease-causing agents in grapevine plantations.

- Dose / concentration 0.35 – 0.4% (35-40 g per 10 l of water). It is applied preventively in phenophases of the 11-79 BBCH scale

BLAUVIT is used in grapevine plantations to suppress grapevine downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola) at a concentration of 0.35 to 0.4% with a water consumption of 600 to 1000 liters per hectare.
Copper hydroxide mechanism of action is multiple:
- Copper hydroxide inhibits cell division and prevents pathogenic spore germination.
- It blocks the respiratory processes of pathogens
- It slows down protein biosynthesis
- It reduces membrane permeability
The perfect size of copper microparticles in Blauvit yields good covering power, which is very important for contact fungicides.
It is extremely difficult to wash off in the rain.
Blauvit is recommended in the treatment of grapevines during rest, before vegetation and after harvesting. Copper ions contribute to more rational water consumption in plant cells and strengthen cell tissue
DO NOT apply at the time of crops flowering. If applied under cold and damp weather conditions it can be phytotoxic to the plant.
MIXING OPTIONS:
- It is mixed with sulfur preparations, provided the solution reaction remains neutral, and with mineral oils during vegetation REST PERIOD.
- Do not mix with insecticides of acidic reaction (sistemin-dimethoate) and calcium polysulphide.
